Motorola is betting on the retro fashion and reintroduce the clamshell Razr

Motorola, a subsidiary of Lenovo launches a rather special marketing campaign plays on retro youth.

For some of us, the clamshell phone takes us back a few decades back, and think back immediately to Mulder and Scully from the X-Files or Neo in The Matrix. If smartphones and touchscreens completely dominate the market, some manufacturers, however, have not thrown in the towel.

So in the month of August, Samsung and LG have unveiled new clamshell smartphones on Android for some Asian countries. Motorola intends to ride this wave and announced the return of its Razr model.

Specifically, the device is pointed in a clip of Adele and Motorola artist has released a promotional video of the phone, which in its heyday, has sold 130 million copies around the world.
